On 28–29 August 2026, @gianmauric shipped postyourbuildideas.com with a simple diagnosis: everyone has twenty app ideas in their notes and ships none of them.

A week earlier, @downloadlos wrote that outside of tech the real problem is not ideation — it is the blank input. People freeze when a tool asks them to type a vision from nothing.

In August 2026 @nickvasiles offered a free startup idea: a CalAI-style calorie tracker that never becomes an app, just an iMessage agent. @Teslaconomics wanted the same shape for a wrist-level AI chief of staff. @T_Zahil had already argued that generic trackers are dead and niched tools are not.

Unbuilt is the synthesis. A public graveyard of rotting ideas, each one turned into a product brief and a paste-ready build prompt so nobody has to start from a blinking cursor.

v1 is local-first on purpose. The constraint is the point: ship the loop before inventing accounts.
